Who We Are
We are Save A Life Healthcare Initiative (SALHEI)
A national, independent, non-profit humanitarian organization dedicated to saving lives and transforming communities.
Founded in 2015 and officially incorporated in 2023, we combine technical expertise with a passion for humanity to deliver life-saving healthcare and support where it’s needed most.
What We Do
We partner with governments, stakeholders, and local communities to implement evidence-based solutions that change lives. Our work includes:
- Healthcare Access: Bringing quality healthcare closer to underserved communities.
- Maternal & Child Health: Reducing preventable deaths through care and education.
- Emergency Nutrition: Combating malnutrition during crises.
- WASH Solutions: Delivering clean water, sanitation, and hygiene support.
- Protection & Advocacy: Addressing gender-based violence and promoting reproductive health.
Mission & Vision
Recent Projects
We had impactful discussions with key stakeholders, partners and SALHEI team during a 5-day training on Outbreak Readiness and Response: Prioritizing Sexual, Reproductive Maternal and Newborn Health (SRMNH) services in Humanitarian settings.
The training in Abuja organized by Save the Children International from France Office trained and provided a platform to elevate conversations on maintaining SRMNH services during infectious disease outbreaks in Humanitarian settings.
We look forward to continued collaboration as we strengthen health security in our country.
